What we are working on

We are working on a public roadmap to show you, but here are a few things which are in the pipeline right now:

  • Resource properties - refer to resources as script properties
  • Multi-texturing
  • Engine modularization - moving internal components to public extensions
  • Audio - improved audio playback capabilities (pitch, audio cursors etc)
  • Metal and Vulkan - new render pipelines to complement Open GL
  • Improved 3D support - custom vertex formats, frustum culling, dynamic mesh creation etc.
  • New platforms
  • Google Play Game Services
  • Unified build pipeline
  • Improved undo workflow in the editor
  • Editor extensions
